New Year and resolution

2024 has passed in a blink of an eye.

As much as I want to be goal-oriented but I felt blog-posting should be a platform for ranting hmm i mean express feelings.

2025 will be another milestone if I do pass my Viva exit exam and thesis defence. Honestly, I have been wasting a lot of my time in the past year scrolling the internet aimlessly while watching useless Youtube Videos. Habits, once instilled and stick will be something difficult to kick.

Lists of New Year resolutions for the year of 2025

  1. Pass my Viva exit exam and thesis defence – that means reducing Youtube video scrolling time and study more with my girls.
  2. Learn to care less. No one besides God should and can affect ma emotions. Apathy is the best defence. Withdrawing one’s presence from drama and obnoxious people will be a good start. Honestly, I couldn’t care less about people who are not team players.
  3. Refresh statistics memories learned during ILP year yikes.
  4. Improve on cataract surgical skills and esp working on cornea suturing. GIMME ALL THE CORNEA T&S puleazeeeeee.
  5. Submit to God in everything I do. I have not been allowing God to take control (as if) because i had been too comfortable for the past year. Time to put God as my head in life. Please be diligent and disciplined esp in attending church and worship ssy!
  6. Understand that there are things that are best left unspoken.
  7. I think my stint is HKL is going to come to an end. I have had ups and downs in this hospital but more of them are happy and fun memories with my dear-est girlies and some weirdos. Can only hope that the next hospital treats me better. Gimme somewhere near home, maybe?
  8. I hope to pick up guzheng or saxophone again. KKM please la don’t cut our allowances or else I have to continue to remain a leech to my parents who are still paying for some of my exam expenses šŸ˜€

Enough ranting, ok and back to studying .

Dunno how to share spotify music on wordpress sooooo i am gonna share this lovely and super underrated song via Youtube.
